See how cash moved through the period, not just where it ended

Invoice Crowd organizes cash movement into operating, investing and financing sections with opening and ending cash context. The report reads recorded account activity and does not create or correct transactions itself.

  • Operating, investing and financing
  • Opening and ending cash
  • Read-only report context

How it works

A clearer view of cash movement across the period

KPI cards, an overview chart and a statement table make the report easier to scan. The underlying classification still depends on the accounts and source entries already recorded.

Read the movement

Opening cash, activity and the resulting ending cash.

Separate operating, investing and financing activity

The statement groups cash movement into the three familiar activity sections so a reader can see which kind of activity changed the period's cash position.

Keep the opening, change and ending figures together

Summary cards and the statement total make the bridge from opening cash through net movement to ending cash easy to follow.

Filter and compare without changing the books.

Use the visual overview and statement table

The workspace pairs KPI cards and a chart with the detailed statement, preserving distinct semantic colors and keyboard-visible states in both light and dark modes.

Keep the request context consistent

The selected business, dates and currency drive the report and its actions. A stale response after a filter or business switch is not allowed to replace the current context.

Where the report stops

Cash Flow is a read model over recorded activity.

It does not reconcile the bank for you

Cash Flow summarizes recorded account activity; Bank Reconciliation is the separate workflow for matching statement lines, creating missing entries and closing a statement period.

It does not rewrite historical rates or entries

The report uses the recorded accounting context available to it. Opening or exporting Cash Flow does not change source documents, account classifications or stored exchange evidence.

Questions

Cash Flow Statement, answered

What does Invoice Crowd's Cash Flow report show?

Invoice Crowd groups recorded cash movement into operating, investing and financing activities and shows the opening cash, net change and ending cash for the selected context.

Does the Cash Flow report import bank transactions?

No. Use Invoice Crowd's Bank Reconciliation workflow to import and stage statement lines. Cash Flow is a report over activity already recorded.

Can I filter Cash Flow by date and currency?

The report operates in the selected business, date and currency context. Report actions use that same current context rather than a separately cached spreadsheet.

Does opening Cash Flow change any accounting records?

No. Invoice Crowd's Cash Flow workspace is read-only and does not create, edit, match or reconcile a transaction.

Where do I investigate an unexpected cash movement?

Open the relevant account in Invoice Crowd's General Ledger to inspect transaction dates, descriptions and source provenance, then correct the factual source through its normal editor.

Is Cash Flow the same as Bank Reconciliation?

No. Cash Flow summarizes classified cash movement; Bank Reconciliation compares recorded entries with an external statement and marks selected entries reconciled when the user closes the session.
